Our story began when Solwerk founder, John Stollenwerk, Jr., recognized the need in the marketplace for a high-quality, comfortable dress shoe that takes professional men wherever they need to go to be successful. He set out to create a technology driven, sophisticated footwear brand never before seen by the global footwear industry. John wanted to create a company with the integrity he witnessed firsthand when he worked with his father, John Stollenwerk, Sr., and his valued co-workers at Allen-Edmonds Shoe Corporation.

His partnership with veteran designer, Javier Solis, led to Solwerk. Solwerk creates high quality shoes and accessories that are classic in design and infused with high performance details so men can have the greatest level of comfort and support and still look professional.

All Solwerk shoes feature our patent pending ONE TEC™ gel cushioning system. This unique cushioning system allows the gel component of the heel to protrude through the midsole allowing your foot to sit directly on the cushioning gel platform.
